I came to BCG after working for a competing firm for nearly 20 years.

Tony joined BCG from another consulting firm where he headed up the Telecom practice in Asia.

He has lived in Asia since 1993 and has advised more than 20 fixed and mobile operators across ten countries: working with clients on growth and marketing strategies, market entry, corporate strategy, mergers and acquisitions, process re-engineering, and organizational development.

Tony has an MA in engineering from Cambridge University.

In the course of my early work, I became very interested in strategy and organization, but I was looking for more diversity of experience and for a more challenging business environment. This is why I joined BCG’s Hamburg office in June 2006.

Since then, my wish for diversity has been realized: I have worked on projects in the telecommunication, energy, and industrial goods sectors. Moreover, I have been able to work in a very international environment, with projects in North Africa, France, Germany, and Eastern Europe.

Right from the beginning, I noticed how my previous work experience helped me to quickly understand our clients' issues and processes. I also broadened my knowledge of operational structures by working on projects in marketing, human resources, mergers and acquisitions, organization, and information technology.

After my first few projects, I was amazed to see how the strong cooperation between BCG and its clients could lead quickly to concrete and tangible results. For example, I supported the development of the overall marketing and sales strategy of a telecommunications operator, and I was proud to see the results a few months later!

From the variety of projects, to the team work with experienced colleagues and with our clients, to the energizing environment of BCG, my learning curve has been moving rapidly: in short, a great career move to capitalize on a first experience and grow further!

In 2003, after graduating with degrees in telecommunications engineering and in business administration in France, Elise joined the international trainee program of an industrial goods company where she was given several assignments in different departments in several countries.

At the end of the program, she worked as strategy manager for one of the business units in Germany.
