I have pretty much been a career consultant. After graduating with an Accounting & Information Systems degree, I joined the IT consulting firm, Accenture (Andersen Consulting), where I worked on process re-engineering and IT implementation projects. After my five years there, I was ready for some new challenges. So, the call from BCG was perfectly timed.

Since then, it has been a great learning experience. BCG has given me opportunities to cover various functional topics, such as strategy development, value-based management, organization transformation and process re-engineering, across diverse industries. Every case is a new learning experience with a new client, in a new industry or a new functional area and, most of all, in a new role.

This brings me to my favorite part about working here; BCG has a strong focus on people development. We are all expected and challenged to grow throughout our tenure. The firm provides both passive (e.g., online training) and active (e.g., case work guidance) support to help us grow. Most importantly, every one of us is free to chart our own course and develop a specific niche for ourselves.

While everyone works hard, BCG emphasizes work/life balance. So, outside work, I enjoy reading, watching movies and sports. In addition, my wife and I make a point of visiting at least one new holiday destination every year.
